The book gave me the information I needed and more. Fletcher Kingsley described his own experience with Pray and Fasting although I thought he made some assumptions and broad brush strokes of thoughts that are not necessarily the thoughts or opinions of evangelicals.

This book is excellent for explaining the necessity of prayer and fasting in our daily spiritual lives. It demonstrates how fasting goes hand in hand with prayer and how we, as a nation, really neglect fasting. This book is definately a must for your library if you are interested in learning more about prayer and fasting.
